Dr Christine Lam has been working in the medical industry for over two decades and has cared for people from all walks of life during that time. She completed her MBBS in 1994 and her FRACGP in 2000 at the University of Queensland. She is passionate about working as a GP and has a significant interest in women’s health and paediatrics. She also loves the challenge that the diversity of general practice brings. It makes it interesting and allows her to continue her study of general human health with the same enthusiasm she had at the very beginning of her career.
Dr Lam has worked in both hospital and general practice environments.
She completed her internship and residency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and then moved on to train at Pomona Medical Centre, Cleveland Medical Centre and Meadowbrook Medical Centre.
Once fully trained, Dr Lam worked as a GP at Browns Plains Medical Centre and then at Garden City Medical Centre before settling as the principal GP at Mt Ommaney Family Practice for 15 years.
As a doctor with a whole host of experience in different surgeries she has brought a breadth of knowledge with her that is truly appreciated and relied upon at Sinnamon Park Medical Centre.
In her spare time, Dr Lam is an adventurer and loves to run and dive recreationally. She also has a special spot in her heart for man’s best friend, dogs.
