Christabel is a UK-trained GP and has been working in general practice since 2002. She has a special interest in women’s health, sexual health and antenatal care. She participates in antenatal shared care with Royal Women’s, Mercy and Northern hospitals. She provides a comprehensive service in contraception including fitting both Mirena and copper IUDs and Implanon. Her postgraduate qualifications include Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK), Diploma in Child Health ( UK) and Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (UK). She is also a Member of the Australasian Menopause Society. In addition to her General Practice work, Christabel works for East Victoria GP training, supporting and appraising young GPs in training. She is married with 3 children. She is an enthusiastic member of a local fitness group, is an avid reader and loves quilting.
