Dr Chin Tan is an endocrinologist with an interest in general endocrinology and diabetes. He completed undergraduate training at the University of Melbourne and spent three years completing specialist training in Endocrinology at the Eastern and Monash Health in Melbourne.
He also spent a year in Paediatric Endocrinology Department at Stanford University, USA doing clinical research as part of a Bachelor of Medical Science degree with the Melbourne University.
He has a keen interest in clinical research of diabetes and is currently one of the clinical research fellows at School of Public Health, Monash University. He is also a teaching associate at Southern Clinical School, Monash University.
He is working in public at both Monash and Peninsula Health and in private practice at South East Endocrine Associates Berwick and Peninsula Endocrine Associates Frankston
