Terrance graduated from the University of NSW in Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He then went on to further training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology in Perth, where he explored his interest in patients with chronic hepatobiliary disorders and liver failure, as well as aiding with the teaching of younger physicians. He was awarded a fellowship from the FRACP in 2008 and then completed his doctorate (PhD) at the University of Queensland. Terrance has also been working as a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is continuing research in his field.
