Dr Chelsea McMahon is an Endocrinologist committed to providing personalised evidenced based medicine.

After finishing secondary school at Ravenswood School for Girls, Dr McMahon completed a Bachelor of Science and her medical degree at the University of Sydney. She commenced her medical career as a junior medical officer at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst and then proceeded to specialist training in Endocrinology at St Vincent’s and Concord Hospitals.
She regularly attends national and international meetings and has ongoing research at The Garvan Institute of Medical Research looking at the effect of bisphosphonate therapy on the human immune system, and the baseline predictors for disorders of glucose metabolism in individuals infected with the HIV virus.
