Chantelle graduated from Monash University in Medicine and Surgery in 2006. After working in rural and regional hospitals, she was drawn to formalise her passion for quality women’s health care by entering specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Chantelle undertook 4 years of training at Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital, and 6 months at Mildura Base Hospital. After moving to Ballarat in 2014, she completed the final 2 years of her fellowship with the OGB group. This variety of training allowed her to develop a diverse range of skills and interests. These include young women’s health, reproductive and pelvic disorders, colposcopy, advanced laparoscopy and normal and high-risk pregnancy care. Chantelle also has special interest in Indigenous women’s health and has undertaken extra training in this area. She is delighted to return to work in the OGB practice after the birth of her daughter earlier this year. Chantelle provides care to women at SJOG and Ballarat Base Hospital, and visiting Gynaecological services to Stawell and Maryborough.
