Dr Gopisetty moved to Port Hedland in 2008 after clearing his FRACGP with an intention to work close to rural and remote communities. After working for about 8 years at South Hedland with a corporate, the longest serving GP at present in Port Hedland, due to his attachment with people of Town of Port Hedland, Dr Gopisetty decided to move on from his present employer to open his own practice in the town to bring quality and affordable health care to the commoner in and around Port Hedland. He then approached his colleague and best friend Dr Michael Gendy in Perth, whom he helped to start new surgeries under the umbrella name "Jupiter Health Care" , to explore ways to extend their arm to the Town of Port Hedland to give affordable and quality health care to the people of this fast developing mining town. With encouragement from TOP, BHP and Royalties for Regions initiative to construct and allot beach front housing to GPs in Port Hedland, Jupiter Health Care entered into negotiations with the Town of Port Hedland to start the new surgery under the name " Port Hedland Family Practice" in the Boulevard Shopping Centre from the month of April 2015. The refurbishment work with modifications of the shops to suit to a good Medical Centre is going on full swing at present to make the opening possible in the first week of April 2015. The Medical Centre will be open every day from morning 7am to evening 7pm on week days and 7am to 2 pm over the weekends. The Surgery is open on Sundays too. Specialised Skin Clinics will be run once a month over the weekend to take care of Advanced Skin Cancers and Female Aesthetics (Botox, Fillers for face beautification)". New surgery specially focuses on Diabetic Care, Mental Health, Occupational Health, Paediatric Health, Men's Health, Women's Health, Skin Cancer Screening, Pre Employment Medical Examinations and Workers Compensation Cases".
