I graduated from Monash Medical school with honours in 1997 planning to pursue a career in surgery. I quickly realised I was more interested in anaesthesia completing my fellowship in 2007. My specialist career began at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne before returning to my home town Geelong in 2009. I have enjoyed working in every hospital in Geelong over the last 10 years providing anaesthesia to patients both young and old. Now I focus the majority of my work at St John of God Hospital. I find all aspects of anaesthesia interesting and challenging and have a particular interest in orthopaedics and plastic surgery.
Outside of work I am happily married and a busy mum to 3 amazing children. When not running children to cricket, netball, swimming or football I enjoy cake and biscuit decorating, reading, surfing and following the Geelong Cats!
