Completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2006, receiving first class honours and the university medal for her research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy. She graduated from her medical degree in 2010 at the University of Sydney which included training for extended periods at Westmead and Dubbo Base Hospitals. She relocated to the Illawarra in 2011 and has worked at Wollongong Hospital and a general practice in Culburra Beach. She completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2013 and a Certificate in Sexual Health and Family Planning in 2014. She joined the team at Figtree Surgery in 2013.
