After completing my first year of hospital jobs in the UK I moved to Perth, and subsequently worked in hospitals and general practice in WA, Tasmania and England whilst completing general practice training in Tasmania and England. Between 2004-2014 I was a GP partner in a practice in SE England and latterly also on the board of a health trust for 500,000 patients, with responsibility for health care pathways in cancer and long term illness. My areas of interest are women's health, children and care of long term conditions such as lung disease and heart disease. I returned to live in Hobart in 2014 with my husband Dr Steve Rogers and our three children and enjoy walking and playing the cello in local orchestras and chamber groups.
