Dr Carrie Rui Yang graduated from the University of New England, and trained at Nepean Blue Mountains Hospital network. Following fellowship, she pursued further studies in her interest areas of Paediatrics and Women’s Health and is accredited for implanon contraception insertion and removal. She is an antenatal shared care practitioner with Westmead Hospital and an accredited Hepatitis B s100 prescriber. Dr Carrie enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Every day is different, unexpected and it is very satisfying to be able to assist patients from infants to the elderly on a variety of medical issues. The most rewarding part of all is to see patients’ health condition improve, and getting to know them and their families over time, and that’s why she loves being a GP. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, play the piano, swimming and yoga.
