Associate Professor Bruce Jackson graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1970, then completed postgraduate training in Melbourne, Adelaide and the USA. He returned to Melbourne in 1980 and has held senior public hospital and research appointments in medicine, nephrology and cardiology since then. Current appointments in Southern Health include Deputy Head of Medicine at Casey Hospital, Vascular Physician in the Diabetes and Vascular Medicine Service, and Head of the Southern Health Chronic Heart Failure Programme.
Associate Professor Bruce Jackson is Clinical Dean of the Southern Clinical School (Monash University) at Casey Hospital. He has an extensive academic career with many publications in the areas of hypertension, cardiac and renal.
