Dr Brian Harrisberg graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine in 1982. He completed his ophthalmology training in Sydney, Australia and was subsequently elected as a Fellow to the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists in 1991. He has completed a fellowship in refractive surgery. Dr Harrisberg subspecialises in cataract, refractive surgery and diabetic eye disease. Dr Harrisberg has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has presented lectures in Australia and at international ophthalmology meetings and conferences. He is a clinical lecturer at Sydney University and is Visiting Medical Officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr Harrisberg is a fellow of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
