Dr Rattray was born and grew up in South Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1994 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). After spending a few years gaining experience in the UK, she arrived in Australia in 1999 on a 1 years “working holiday”. She fell in love with Australia and is still here. In 2002 she completed her general practice training and graduated as a Fellow of the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Rattray has worked in the Camden Haven since 2002. In 2012 she took a break from general practice and worked at both Port Macquarie Base Hospital and Wauchope District Hospital doing Emergency Medicine and Acute Care.
She joined Focus Medical Centre in 2017.
She also works for the North Coast Primary Health Network as the Clinical Lead for HealthPathways and is involved in many projects aiming at local Health Reform.
When not working she enjoys time with her husband, 2 children and pets. She loves outdoor activities, camping and a good book.
