Dr Branko Krstic has more than 19 years’ experience in dentistry. Having graduated BDS from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1997, Dr Krstic spent some months doing charity work in South African townships. He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he spent 15 years working within National Heath and in private practice.
In 2012 Dr Krstic relocated to Australia with his family, first working in Canberra and Brisbane as a general dentist before settling in Melbourne.
Dr Krstic enjoys interacting with patients and creating personalised treatment plans. His gentle approach helps very nervous patients to overcome their dental fears, and as a member of the Australian Association of Dental Anaesthesiology he is accredited to perform dental surgery under general anaesthetic in private hospitals in Melbourne and Queensland.
Dr Krstic has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry, including prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and endodontics (root canal therapy) but he has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular smile makeovers. He prides himself on enabling unconfident patients to achieve the smile they dream of and to be happy with how they look. He enjoys working with his hands and sees dentistry as a fusion of art and science, especially in the restoration of a smile that has been compromised by dental trauma or deterioration.
