Dr Bradley Horsburgh specialises in Cataract Surgery, Adult Strabismus surgery and general Ophthalmology.

He was born in country Queensland, and completed his medical degrees at the University of Queensland (1985), with clinical placements in the United Kingdom.

His residency training was at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital. Prior to his ophthalmology training, he undertook two years of clinical research examining the role of corneal stem cells.

He was appointed to the Queensland ophthalmology training program in 1991, and went on to complete Senior Registrar training on the Western England ophthalmology training program in 1994/95.

Dr Horsburgh has been in private practice in Brisbane since 1995 and has been a Visiting Ophthalmologist at the Royal Brisbane Hospital since 2001.

He is the current chairman of the Queensland branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.

He is a previous chairman and medical director of the Queensland Eye Hospital, and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
