Dr Shirley is a GP with a special interest in the area of infant sleep. She completed her undergraduate studies majoring in psychology at the University of Queensland and then went on to complete her medical degree there in 2003. In 2009 she was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

After having her first child Beth realised the importance of good quality care for parents and their babies and has had the pleasure of working exclusively with this group of patients since. She is particularly interested in promoting a positive relationship between parents and their children by providing support in the areas of infant sleep and feeding. Dr Shirley offers personal and tailor made approaches, which address the specific reasons for each child’s sleeplessness. Although the solutions are gentle, they are highly effective and safe, backed by solid scientific evidence. As a paediatric GP Dr Shirley is able to take a broad view of your baby’s sleep needs, looking at their development, feeding, health and temperament.
