After graduating from University of Tasmania in 2000, Dr Freeman completed his hospital training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital before pursuing further paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital (Brisbane). As a student he took electives in Central Australia and overseas in Apia, Independent Samoa. He has a love for travel, visiting Africa on several occasions. He completed his General Practice Fellowship in 2009 and enjoys the full spectrum of General Practice.
