Dr Ben Lancashire is a Specialist Breast, Endocrine and General Surgeon.
He completed his medical degree with Honours through the University of Queensland. After completing training in general surgery, he went on to undertake a further 2 years of subspecialty training in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery and endocrine surgery.
Dr Lancashire is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, a member of BreastSurgANZ, the Australian Society of Breast Disease, Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons and General Surgeons Australia. He maintains an interest in managing all aspects of acute and elective general surgical conditions including gallstone disease, hernias and acute abdominal conditions.
Dr Lancashire consults from and operates at Mater Private Hospital at South Brisbane. He is a VMO at the Wesley Hospital, Greenslopes Hospital and The Wesley Hospital. He has visiting public hospital appointments at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital and Logan Hospital. He is a member of Mater Private Breast Cancer Centre.He has visiting appointments with BreastScreenQLD and The Wesley Breast Clinic.
Dr Lancashire is a Senior Lecturer with both the University of Queensland and Griffith University, and an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor with Bond University
