Dr Belinda Welsh is the founder of Complete Skin Specialists. She completed her 6 year undergraduate medical degree at Monash University in 1990. She was an Intern at the Austin hospital in Melbourne before moving to Sydney and spending several years as a junior resident then registrar at the Royal North Shore Hospital. In 1995 she completed a Research based Masters Degree at the University of Sydney under the supervision of world reknowned scientist Professor Gary Halliday. She moved back to Melbourne in 1996 to complete the 4 year specialist dermatology training program. In the year of her graduation Belinda won the Australasian College of Dermatologists Travelling Fellowship for finishing top in her year and used this award to visit several hospitals in the USA. Prior to opening the practice Belinda was a consultant at the the rooms of Dr Anne Howard in Footscray and Dr Peter Sinclair in Kew. Belinda established the Sunbury Dermatology and Skin Cancer Clinic in 2002. Since that time Belinda has treated well in excess of 8000 patients. As well as practising in Sunbury Belinda is also a consultant at St Vincents Hospital and Melbourne’s iconic Royal Childrens Hospital where she works in the laser clinic. She also consults at the Skin and Cancer Foundation Victoria. She has published numerous articles and regularly speaks at Conferences. Having grown up in Gisborne South it is no accident that Belinda chose the Sunbury and Macedon Ranges area to establish her practice.
