Dr Barbara Breadon has over thirty years' experience in general dermatology.. She was one of Victoria's pioneering female dermatologists.
Her special areas of interest include acne, sun damage and cosmetic procedures.
After dermatology training Dr Breadon had extensive hospital and private practice experience before starting her own practice in Heidelberg, and commenced practice in the current location in Clifton Hill in 1985. Her patients are drawn from a wide geographic area, with a loyal patient base generating many personal referrals.
Dr Breadon enjoys patient care, and her approach to skin care and clinical work in general is to treat the whole person. She has developed many minimally invasive techniques for removing skin lesions with as little scarring as possible. She is open to new ideas and techniques, and this is reflected in the new equipment acquired by the clinic in recent years.
