Dr Jag completed his primary medical qualifications in Europe in 2004. He then obtained his post-graduate degree in general medicine in 2008. He worked as a general practitioner in Adelaide where he obtained a diploma in Child Health from the Women's and Children's Hospital, Adelaide in 2010. During this time, he also worked towards his fellowship for general practice. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in January 2012. Dr Jag has worked in Moil Medical Centre since October 2012.
