Dr Asha Nair studied medicine in India but completed her internship and post graduate studies in London. She practised medicine in Singapore from 1975 to 1991 and was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, in recognition of contributions to the field of Community Geriatrics in Singapore. Asha migrated to Australia in 1992 and has been in General Practice since. She has a particular interest in women's health, mental health and geriatrics and also enjoys all other aspects of general medicine.
