Anthony graduated from Adelaide University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree with Honours. In 2002, he gained his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in plastic and reconstructive surgery, before undertaking postgraduate training in hand and burns surgery as a fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
