Dr Anthony Gray (General Surgeon)

Mr Tony Gray graduated from Melbourne University in 1987 and undertook his primary surgical training at the Austin Hospital, during which time included rotations at the Bendigo Hospital. Mr Gray has been in Bendigo since 1999 as a Specialist General Surgeon at Bendigo Health and St John of God Bendigo Hospital (then known as Mount Alvernia), during such time he has helped develop and mentor the surgical services in the greater Bendigo region.

He has a special interest in Hepato-billiary (ERCP), Laparoscopic surgery, Bowel and Breast surgery as well as Endoscopy. He maintains an active interest in surgical education, regularly attending Melbourne to teach RACS Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) courses.

Mr Gray’s Rooms are located next to St John of God Hospital at St Francis House. He also has a public appointment with the Bendigo Hospital. Mr Gray is actively involved in the Bendigo community with a close association with the Bendigo Cricket Club and Sandhurst Football and Netball Club.
