Dr Bertram is an Australian and New Zealand Registered Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with general and specialist medicine, as well as general and specialist dental registration. Dr Bertram currently holds NSW Health public hospital appointments at both Westmead in Sydney and Gosford/Wyong on the Central Coast, where he provides services to public patients in his role as a Specialist Visiting Medical Officer for Gosford and Wyong Public Hospitals.
Dr Bertram is proficient and experienced in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and have post-fellowship experience in tertiary trauma centres and head and neck cancer units in Australia and New Zealand, and is of the few surgeons in Australia with international experience in orthognathic facial surgery. Private practice interests range the full scope of the specialty from dentoalveolar surgery and implants, to pathology, trauma and major reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. Dr Bertram welcomes any referrals and is happy to provide advice or assistance at any time for all dental and medical colleagues on the Central Coast.
