Dr Azzi moved to Newcastle after graduating from the University of Sydney in 1989. He spent the next 13 years working in the public hospital system in General Medicine and Haematology. In 2008, he completed a Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine (University of Queensland), where he is now a Senior Lecturer. Dr Azzi now works full time as a Skin Cancer Surgeon. He is a member of the AMA (Australian Medical Association), SCCA (Skin Cancer College Australasia), AAAM (American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine), and OSSANZ (Obesity Surgery Society of Australia & New Zealand). With his knowledge and skill, Dr Azzi has active and regular roles training other doctors in skin cancer surgery nationally and internationally, with Healthcert and GPSynergy.
