Graduated from University of Tasmania in 1982 and completed a Diploma of Obstetrics in 1986. Obtained my Fellowship of the RACGP in 1990 and completed a Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine in 1996. Worked in Bridgewater for 26 years as practice principal for much of that time but also worked as a forensic examiner for the Sexual Assault Medical Service and casual tutor for the University of Tasmania Medical School. Have special interests in Women’s Health, including Implanon and Mirena insertion and removal, and psychiatry, as well as all aspects of general practice. Currently work part time in general practice while job sharing the position of General Practice Liaison Officer for the Royal Hobart Hospital and the THO South and continuing to act as a forensic examiner and casual tutor. Main non medical interests are singing with the Tasmanian Song Company, reading, sewing and being a doting grandmother.
