Dr Anne Nguyen was born and bred in Adelaide and attended Glenunga International High School, a school for students with high intellectual potential. Their curriculum condenses the usual high school curriculum into 3 years and Anne impressively, was dux of the school in her final year.
After a stellar high school career, Anne went on to the University of Adelaide, commencing a pharmacy degree at the young age of 16. After a year, she was drawn to a career in Dentistry instead.
When Anne graduated in 2007 she and then fiancée Quan, went to Griffith for Anne to work with their brother-in-law, Tuan and when the opportunity to move to Sydney to be closer to family came along, Anne could not resist although she enjoyed rural life.
Her passion for dentistry came about from her special interest in smiles. A bubbly and energetic person herself, it pains Anne to see people reluctant to smile due to the state of their mouths. Keen to master the latest technologies, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry but the life-changing effects that cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry can have on patients give her particular pleasure.
Anne continues education as an active member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and she has completed additional training as a specialist with the Invisalign technique. She continually explores new and alternative techniques to improve patients’ smiles. Kind and calm, she has a lovely manner with children and her young patients have no hesitation to attend regular check-ups.
