Dr Cunningham has a special interest in mental and adolescent health. She attended medical school at the University of Sydney, and has worked in both rural, regional and metropolitan hospitals and clinics across Australia.
Prior to commencing her general practice specialty training, she had commenced specialty training in psychiatry at The Alfred in Melbourne, and plans to complete both fellowships. She is also an associate lecturer at James Cook University/Mount Isa Centre for Rural and Remote Health, MICRRH. She lives in Mount Isa with her husband and two children.
