Associate Professor Anna Braue treats a broad range of general dermatological conditions and has special interest in the management of acne, psoriasis, melanoma and other skin cancers, and the ageing process.

Having established the Royal Melbourne Hospital Melanoma Service, Assoc. Prof. Braue is experienced in the diagnosis and management of melanoma and other skin cancers. A recognised expert in the treatment of psoriasis using biological therapies, she helped establish the Australasian Psoriasis Registry and ran many of the safety and efficacy trials that introduced these ground-breaking therapies to Australia.

As Associate Professor within the RMH Department of Dermatology and the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, she supervises trainee dermatologists and oversees a range of clinical research work as well as managing complex dermatological patients through RMH Dermatology Outpatients clinics.

Assoc. Prof. Braue is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and completed her Master of Medicine based on innovative virological research conducted at the Victorian Infectious Diseases Laboratory (VIDRL). She has also been heavily involved in groundbreaking prospective research exploring the links between diet and acne.
