Dr. Anki Fonseka completed her medical degree at Deakin University, graduating in 2014. Her passion for General Practice was ignited as a third year medical student in rural Victoria where she was immediately taken by the opportunity to build strong effective doctor patient relationships and the opportunity to provide continuity of care. After finishing her medical degree, Anki went on to complete her internship at Northern Hospital, followed by her residency at Monash Hospital. Her areas of interest include Women’s Health, Children’s Health and Geriatric Medicine. She takes a holistic approach to patient care and aims to practice preventative health care at every opportunity.
Outside of medicine Anki loves spending time with her adorably energetic baby daughter and husband, exercising, entertaining and of course travelling whenever she gets the chance.
