Dr Anjith Divakaran is a fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand college of Psychiatrists passionate about patient-centred care. Anjith is an adult psychiatrist with a special interest in anxiety and depressive disorders. He also treats people with a wide range of other problems such as Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Anjith completed his Doctor of medicine (MD) in psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India in 2010 and subsequently worked as assistant professor in India. He completed his Australian specialist psychiatric training at Northern hospital (Northwestern Mental Health), Melbourne in 2015. Later he worked with Eastern health, Melbourne before setting up private practice in 2017. Anjith is has a strong academic focus as reflected by his published research papers and the Royal college of Psychiatrist’s scientific committee award from 2013.
