Dr Anita Yuen is an ENT surgeon whose practice has a strong paediatric focus. Her practice includes the treatment of both adult and paediatric ENT conditions both publicly and privately.
Anita graduated from the University of Melbourne medical school. She completed her residency at Western Hospital and started General Surgery training (including a year of Plastic Surgery and Thoracic Surgery). She then completed ENT Surgery training in Melbourne and went on to study in London at St George's Hospital.
As a mother, Anita is able to understand the challenges that parents face when their child is unwell. When combined with her experience in many areas of surgery and subspecialty training she is able to expertly guide children and their parents who are contemplating surgery.
Along with her colleague Dr Deborah Amott, Anita is excited by the opportunity to join forces with Western Children's Health Centre to provide an excellent level of service to the families of the west.
