Dr Angas Hamer has been a cardiologist for over 25 years, specialising in the management of cardiac arrhythmia's. He currently holds a public appointment at Box Hill Hospital, performs Tilt Table Testing at Epworth Richmond and undertakes electrophysiological procedures at Epworth Eastern and Warringal Private Hospitals.
Angas implants pacemakers and defibrillators, with follow up clinics, and has managed over 6000 pacemaker patients. He performs Electro physiological studies and catheter ablation for the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmia.
Each week he reports over 150 electrocardiograms, and 1000 ambulatory ECG monitors. He has a special interest in cardiac syncope, and is responsible for the assessment of patients and performance of tilt table testing in 12 - 15 patients per week at three hospitals.
