Aneesa is from the UK and moved to Australia in 2009. She obtained her GP Fellowship in the UK and has also been awarded her GP Fellowship here in Australia as well.
She enjoys general practice and has a deep interest in women’s health. Aneesa is able to do Mirena IUD insertions and other long acting reversible contraception. She has a keen interest in prevention and management of chronic disease in the community.
Aneesa has been involved in mentoring and the supervision of medical students form the University of Melbourne since 2012, and has found this an extremely satisfying aspect of her job.
Aneesa is a mother and now also a proud grandmother .
