Dr Skerman graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993. Andrew has post graduate specialist qualifications in General Practice and diplomas in Obstetrics and Rural Medicine. He has worked in a variety or practice locations from rural Queensland to the national capital. Andrew has moved to Townsville following his wife’s appointment to a senior position at St.Pats College. His special areas of interest include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, minor surgery, women’s health/obstetrics (including IUD-Mirena and Implanon insertion) and child health.
