Dr Haydon holds honorary appointments as a senior lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Monash University and the University of Sydney, as well as being an honorary researcher with the Cancer Council of Victoria. He is involved in the running of multiple clinical trials at both the Alfred and Cabrini.
Dr Haydon is a member of numerous multidisciplinary cancer meetings including The Victorian Melanoma service, the Cabrini colorectal and Urological cancer meetings and the Alfred Head and Neck Cancer, Lung cancer, Upper Gastro-intestinal cancer, and Hepatobilliary cancer meetings.
Dr Haydon is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, The Private Cancer Physicians of Australia, the Australasian Gastro-intestinal Trials Group and the ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group. His interests are clinical trials, Upper and Lower Gastro-intestinal cancers, Head & Neck Cancer and Melanoma.
