Associate Professor Andrew Davis trained in Paediatric Cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and then at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He undertook further training in Paediatric Electrophysiology (abnormal heart rhythms) in Toronto and subsequently at the Children’s Hospital, Boston.

Whilst overseas he completed his doctorate on high resolution ECGs in children. His research interest is the prevention of sudden death in the young. Andrew has been a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne since 1996. He is the lead clinician of the Arrhythmia Service within The Department of Cardiology. As well as looking after general cardiology patients Andrew’s subspecialty interests include palpitations, fainting, pacemakers, defibrillators, radiofrequency ablation and the diagnosis and management of inherited arrhythmias including long QT syndrome.
