Dr Batty graduated from Monash University in 1979 and has been at East Bentleigh since 1984, after completing general practice and obstetric training. After delivering in the order of 2000 babies, he now provides shared pre-labour pregnancy care with Southern Health and Sandringham Hospitals. Dr Batty’s other medical interests include paediatrics and aged care. Dr Batty is a board member of Bentleigh Bayside Community Health. Dr Batty is married with 3 adult children. Outside work, his main interests include walking, cycling and old BMWs.
