Dr Amitesh C Roy is a medical oncologist at Flinders Medical Centre. Dr Roy has completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology at the tertiary care centres in Adelaide. During his fellowship year he has worked as a senior clinical research fellow in the Gastrointestinal Cancer Trials Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. His clinical interests include management of gastrointestinal, hepato-pancreatic, neuro-endocrine, melanoma and lung malignancies. Research experience gained within the GI & Lymphoma research unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research has provided him with invaluable exposure to clinical and translational research. Additionally he is involved in various clinical and translational research projects within the clinical trials unit at the Dept. of Medical Oncology at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer and is appointed as a clinical lecturer within the faculty of health sciences, Flinders University.
