Amanda completed her Medical degree at Monash University in 2005. She gained experience in general medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics and psychiatry during her post graduate training. Amanda obtained her Fellowship of General Practice in 2015 and has been involved with teaching GP registrars and medical students. She is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Amanda is an experienced GP with special interest in all aspects of women's and children's health. Amanda uses her empathic and caring manner to provide comprehensive, evidence-based and wholistic patient-centered care. Amanda has a wealth of experience in caring for children of all ages, from newborn to adolescence. She enjoys advising women about PMT, menstrual issues, preconception care, breast feeding and contraception choices: Amanda is trained to insert and remove Mirena IUD and Implanon. Amanda is also accredited to provide shared care to pregnant women at Sandringham Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital. Amanda's care of pregnant women and new families over recent years has made her passionate about supporting parents as they transition to their new role.
