Dr Reiss qualified with her primary medical degree in South Africa in 1997. She obtained her General Practice specialty in Canada and moved to Australia in 2008 where she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Michelle enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but mostly focusses on Women’s Health, antenatal shared care, diabetes, paediatrics, lifestyle medicine and skin cancer. She runs a Pap smear clinic twice a month at Mingara Medical.
She has been practising General Practice since 1999, and also has extensive experience with acute care medicine having worked as an admitting VMO (hospitalist) and a part time Emergency Department physician for 12 years.
