Dr Max is a conscientious GP who has practiced General Medicine in Darwin for over four years. Joining our team at Top End Medical Centre Stuart Park in September 2013, Dr Max has established a loyal patient base, through forward thinking patient care, with a proclivity to osteopathic medicine and bone injuries.
Dr Max completed his studies and his residency at The University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, in his native country.
While he holds a deep appreciation for General Practice, Dr Max thoroughly welcomes opportunities to fuel his special interests in assessing and managing sport injuries.
Working in unison with our Work Fit Liaison, Dr Max supports Top End Work Fit, and is actively involved in our Occupational Health services and Pre-Employment Medicals.
Dr Max is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is also an accredited opioid prescriber in collaboration with Drug and Alcohol Services.
Dr Max also offers new Hepatitis C treatments (DAAs) for eligible patients in accordance with all evidence based guidelines and advice from the Liver Clinic. Managing chronic conditions including Diabetes, Heart Disease and Men’s Health is a part of his daily repertoire.
Future endeavours for Dr Max include Skin Cancer Care Certification, such is his commitment to his continued professional development.
