Alex graduated from medicine at Melbourne University in 2008. Prior to working in general practice she spent 6 years working at the Alfred hospital mainly in the area of general medicine. She has completed a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine and has volunteered as a doctor in Tanzania.
