Alex grew up in Clayton and went to Oakleigh High School before commencing his studies at Monash University. He is a fellow of the RACGP. In his line of work, he enjoys taking care of families and has a particular interest in fitness. He has been working in Carrum Downs for over 20 years, so has followed the journeys of many families as their GP. He is married with two daughters and loves to go on adventure holidays. Most recently spending time white water rafting at the Grand Canyon, he has also trekked the Overland trail in Tasmania and four-wheel driven from Darwin to Broome. His other passion is exercise, competing in his first iron cross at the age of 50. He cycles wherever he can and has undertaken several around the bay rides. You may also find Alex has a hidden talent in martial arts, kick boxing, gymnastics and power lifting.
