Dr Alaric Koh (Paediatrician)

Alaric is a Consultant Paediatrician, sub-specialised in the field of Community Child Health (Developmental Paediatrician). He primarily sees children with learning, developmental and behavioural difficulties, and is experienced in the assessment of children for Developmental Delay and other behavioural difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Alaric completed his Medical Degree (MBBS) at the University of Queensland, and subsequently gained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) (Paediatrics) and Associate Fellowship of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers.  Alaric has also completed a Masters of Public Health and Masters of Health Management though the University of NSW.

Alaric is currently a Paediatric Examiner for the Australian Medical Council. He has been the Chair of the Child Population Health Special Interest Group within the RACP, and has been an elected Committee Member of the Chapter of Community Child Health within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians from 2007 to 2014. Alaric continues to be on the Specialist Advisory Committee in Community Child Health within the RACP, where he is currently the Co-ordinator of Advanced Training.

Outside of work, Alaric enjoys spending time with his family. He has 3 young children and enjoys taking them to camping and skiing trips. He taught himself how to ride a bicycle so that he can accompany his children in their adventures around the neighbourhood. In addition to watching his children's sporting pursuits, Alaric also coaches his son's basketball team.
