Dr Woolard (MB BS Qld, FRACGP) has been a GP at the Ipswich Road Medical Centre since 1987.
He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1977. He then worked as a hospital doctor at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane for 3 years and the Bundaberg Base Hospital for 1 year. After studying at a bible college in Melbourne, he worked as a missionary doctor in a remote region of Tanzania [East Africa] from 1983 – 1986.He commenced working as a GP at the Ipswich Road Medical Centre in 1987 and continues in a full time capacity. He obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993.
He is interested in all aspects of general practice / family medicine and is also registered to perform scuba diving medicals for recreational divers and to insert / remove the Implanon contraceptive implant.
