Dr Brotodihardjo completed his undergraduate degree in Medicine in Melbourne University in 1986. In 1993 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, the American Gastroenterological Association and the European Association of Studies on Liver Disease.
Dr Brotodihardjo has been involved in teaching, research and clinical practice in private and public hospitals. His special interest include: inflammatory bowel disease, viral hepatitis, colorectal cancer screening and Barrett’s oesophagus.
Dr Brotodihardjo grew up in Indonesia and Singapore and obtained post-graduate qualifications in finance in Singapore. In addition to English, he speaks fluently Indonesian, Mandarin and Cantonese.
