Dr Afshan completed her medical degree in 2003. She has been practising medicine in Australia since 2006 and has worked in various hospitals and practices across NSW, QLD and NT. She is a fellow of the Australian College of Rural & Remote medicine.
Dr Afshan likes practising all aspects of general practice. Her keen interests are women’s health (pre-pregnancy counselling, antenatal care, contraception, post-natal care and menopause), children’s health (health checks, immunisation), adolescent health (mental health, sexual health and blood borne viruses), chronic diseases and preventative health, aged care, travel medicine and public health.
Dr Afshan is passionate about comprehensive model of care for her patients and strongly believes in holistic approach in patient’s management.
